Creating a community that is safer, stronger and self reliant. – Joy of sharing

Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community.

Mr.Raghuveer Reddy started the “Joy of Sharing Society” in 2012 with the hope of creating a world where all are involved in shaping a better society. The vision of the Joy of Sharing Society is “To create a world filled with love, joy, and peace where everyone is treated equally with kindness, warmth, and togetherness.”

“Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community”

Their actions have touched many lives till now. They have helped unwell children who needed blood transfusions every two weeks by organizing blood donation camps.  With the help of the Amma Nanna foundation they have recently built a home for 500 homeless beggars and mentally retarded people living on the roads.

They have a group of 200 volunteers who help in making India a better place to live. They are looking for more young and active people who can volunteer for their work as most current volunteers are working men and women who might not be available full time.

One of the current goals of the Joy of Sharing Society is to make 300 orphan girls strong and independent by providing them training in self defence through the “YODHA” movement. The first phase of this movement began in July 2018 and is currently running at 3 places in the city.

There has been very good response to the Yodha movement so far. The participating children are exceptionally talented and with their training in taekwando they are becoming strong women. In fact, eight of the students have secured medals in district-level competitions and some have been selected for the state level as well.

The Society also conducts awareness camps for girls on sexual education so that they become self-empowered to take care of themselves. They aim to create a SAFER INDIA by educating women on matters important to their safety and security. What the Society needs to take the YODHA movement to the next level is adequate funds.  They also aim to increase the volunteer base to 1000 within the next six months, for which they require many more volunteers.

The Joy of Sharing Society is creating a community that is safer, stronger and self reliant.
